Yep. I have a farmer friend from my many years in Mercer County, Illinois. He has said that the native Americans should be given reparations, and much more land than their reservations.
I asked him, “So are you going to give them your 420 acres? And your house and buildings... should you give them that as well?
He quickly changed his tune, and muttered something more about the government enlarging their reservations, then changed the subject.
In my experience as a truck driver, I’ve met a variety of people from different ethnicities, even a few native Americans. They said essentially the same thing: it was a blessing to get off the reservation and make a career in the modern world.
I also heard a young Puerto Rican trucker say basically the same thing. He said he got sick of seeing his relatives living off the guvmint handout, and left there for the mainland to build a life for himself here.
Let them keep their personal property. It’s their real estate that they need to ‘redistribute”. And then go back to Europe. What? Not willing to do that? Then STFU.
