The virus is often transported by being attached to moisture droplets, which are big enough to be stopped by the masks, the real problem is now you have a concentration of the virus on the mask.

You are going to touch this with your hands and spread it on any surface you or the mask touches. Then you or others are going to touch the mask and/or the contaminated surfaces. Following that, you will touch your face, eat food, etc., and transport the virus into yourself.

Only full MOPP gear, properly worn, with proper decontamination will protect you. You will need at least two other people also in MOPP gear and you will all need to be trained in how to don, test, decontaminate and remove it.

Anything less is just a sick joke.
