NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — A vehicle speeding toward a U.S.-Canada bridge from the American side crashed and exploded at a checkpoint in Niagara Falls on Wednesday, killing two people and prompting the closing of border crossings in the area, authorities said. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said there was “no indication of a terrorist attack.”
Much remained unclear about the crash, which investigators were working to understand. Hochul said it wasn’t clear whether the driver was intentionally heading for the Rainbow Bridge across the Niagara River when the vehicle hit a median and flew into the air.
“ Based on what we know at this moment,” she said, “there is no sign of terrorist activity in this crash.”
It prompted the closing of four border crossings and raised concerns on both sides of the border. The White House said President Joe Biden was “closely following developments,” and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said officials were “taking this extraordinarily seriously.”
seriously.”
“This is obviously a very serious situation in Niagara Falls,” Trudeau said in Parliament before excusing himself from Question Period in the House of Commons to be briefed further.
The two deceased people were in the vehicle, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press. The official was not authorized to discuss details of the investigation publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
Aaron Ferguson, a spokesperson for the city of Niagara Falls, New York, said the vehicle was traveling at high speed from that city and crashed into the border station.

Earlier reports said “Explosives” in the car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eye witness said there was no explosion just very high speed imp[act, smoke, then flames.
There apparently weren’t any explosives in the car, there was little damage outside of the vehicle.
There weren’t any white make Trump supporters, so that means it wasn’t terrorism according to Adolph Hochul
Iheard the car was stolen.
It wasn’t?
How do they know all this so fast? On the news someone said it would take possible a few weeks to learn things?
Economy doing too bad for them to admit it was terrorism.
dangerous idiot
Whorechul KIA boyz
It could have been a medical problem - an elderly person driving a Bentley. LOL. I don’t think people with Bentleys allow their relatives to drive 100 miles an hour like that.
I’m reminded of a journalist who was on to a hot story that our government wanted to remain a secret. His Mercedes went 80 miles an hour through Los Angeles and exploded in a ball of fire.
I do know that our government is able to control cars remotely.
“She has no business making a statement about something she’s clueless about.”
That’s never stopped her before.
No terrorism?
So was it BLM or Palestinians?
I initially thought terrorism, when I heard it was a Bentley, I thought maybe someone involved with the cartels, heard there was a hit out on them, and was high tailing it out of town, not knowing that a bomb had already been planted in their car.
I was holding judgement on this, but when I saw the video, I thought “They really aren’t going to say that is all there is or the best they have, are they?”
They sure seemed to get away with the brazen lying with the pipe bomb video.
Report I heard said the car was stolen
“She probably said 9/11 was due to the poor quality of flight instruction at the school that taught the terrorists. Flying into the towers was accidental and not related to terrorism.”
I believe if there hadn’t been a second plane on 9/11, they would have covered the terrorism part up. I remember the first reports were saying maybe it was an accident. Yeah, right.
If she says it, it must be a lie.
There wasn’t a bomb. Look at the pictures of the crash site, there’s little damage beyond the wreck. A bomb would have done an awful lot more, and there almost certainly would have been other casualties.
No Osama bin Laden bubblegum trading cards found in the car either.
“Tranny Muslims “is what I’m hearing.
