Of course, having your superpac pay him $94K before the endorsement helped.

Weird cause he’s on the @NvrBackDown24 payroll.
Such a shocker...such honesty

We shall see how influential he is.
With self destructive peers like this who needs enemies.
Trump’s statement
Ron DeDeSanctimonious, in an act of sheer desperation, paid Iowa preacher Bob Vander Plaats $100,000, and then got his Endorsement? We did not seek it. What is going on here?
Wow, there’s like 6 people there!
The people at his rally look like they are at a funeral. Reminds me of a Jeb Bush rally.
“Yeah, he endorsed Ted Cruz, too.”
Hmmm, I’m old enough to remember that Ted Cruz won the Iowa Caucus. With Vanderplaats’ endorsement IIRC.
One hurdle for many Freepers is that they fall for the hoax from the lamestream media that presents presidential politics as a single national popularity contest, a la some televised talent show. In reality it is instead an aggregation of 50+ local/state elections; that is the genius of the Electoral College, which is within the grasp of any Republican candidate. “National” polling may or may not be correct, but it is entirely irrelevant. Watching the trajectory of the polls in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona is not dispositive but certainly more instructive than any “national” poll. in 2016 Trump won these states by a combined total of under 100k votes, in 2020 lost those states by the same margin. Yes there was naked election corruption in Atlanta, Philly, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Madison/Milwaukee, and Phoenix, but in the end Biden was sworn into office.
