The idea that this republican was close to ruin on Jan 6 is ludicrous on its face.
If a few thousand people milling around the capital would tank this nations federal government than that government should not exist.
Were there bad actors? Yes, and those people should be punished... however, to try to claim that this was some hugely violent insurrection is nonsense.
Vast majority of people in the capital walked through an open door, they didn’t break windows, or storm the building they walked quietly in right past security who stood by and let them enter.
I have absolutely no sympathy for those who were breaking windows and destroying things... but the attempts to paint everything and everyone there that day as one of those people is NONSENSE>...
ANd its now beyond clear that the FEDS were directly involved in instigating the situation as well...
And that they intentionally set up security to fail to have the images they wanted/needed

The story was ludicrous from the beginning & will only lose traction as we move towards the 2024 election.
The Republic was never at risk on January 6, 2021.
The narrative that the government was being overturned or bloated executive branch bureaucracies were at risk of losing power is BS.
