"the same. Or different, but the same," ... and he always will be, until he changes.

If Putin “cannot” have any rivals then he’s a dictator. Death to the dictator! Sic semper tyrranis!

Isn’t it a departure for the Kremlin to EVEN MENTION THE POSSIBILITY of a successor?

Out with the old tyrant, in with the new tyrant. “All oppressive policies and directives remain in effect UNODIR.”

Why isn’t Putin telling us that?

So....what he is saying is that they have already decided who is next and VOTING in RUSSIA doesn’t matter.
The Kremlin is basically admitting they they are still Communists with an elite few deciding things, and nothing has changed.

VOTING in RUSSIA doesn’t matter.

Voting in Russia has never mattered and all Russians know it.

The Kremlin is basically admitting they they are still Communists with an elite few deciding things, and nothing has changed. That didn't start with the Bolsheviks. Only the Uniforms changed.

Nor did Lenin and Stalin have rivals thanks to infallible methods.
To: californian by choice
Putin’s genuine rivals end up dead or in jail. All of them. That’s weakness and not strength on his part.

You just can't get Putin off your mind, can you?
Delete that picture of Putin on horseback with his shirt off. Take a cold shower. And, deflate your doink.
