I’ve said this here many times.
Only two ways exist to win a war:
(1) Kill all of the enemy.
(2) Break the enemy’s will to fight.
There is no third option.
Israel gets this.

Well, I would phrase it slightly differently. The only way to win a war is to break the enemy’s will. If that requires your first option, then so be it.
