You got a fight to start with the victim (guy who was robbed)...over a vape-pipe and headphones. It may be a case where the victim was slightly ahead in this fight, and the ‘gang’ jumped in to defend their friend (no one can say if this kid was the robber or not).
Getting some hate-crime out of a robbery? I just don’t saw how you could draw this up.
One odd aspect...if the video didn’t exist...none of this would be proven in some court. In this case, video is going to wrap up the case real quick. I doubt if the case goes more than four days, and 2nd degree murder conviction for all involved.
