Not to make you feel bad, but I paid $3.129 yesterday for premium at a Sam’s in a N ATL suburb. Real 93 octane premium too, not that 91 octane junk you get in CA.
I was in WA recently, and when I filled my rental, the price was similar to yours, if that makes you feel any better.
I live in downstate Hellinois. I paid $4.33 for premium gas the other day. I bought the car in the summer of 2009. Factoring in inflation, $4.33 would be about $3.04 in 2009 dollars. That is probably around the cost of gas I was paying when I bought the car. I spent sometime in SCAL before Covid hit. When I saw the gas prices, I thought WTF..
