What happens if everyone does a write-in and demands it?

It is entirely plausible that one or more states try to keep Trump off their ballots.

Then he wins in a landslide, naturally, and then they try to prevent counting those ballots. Fun times.

Politically speaking, the states most likely to try and keep Trump off of the ballot are states he’d not likely win in any case. Lincoln wasn’t on the ballot in the Southern states in 1860. He won the Electoral Vote anyway.
