Even if it was a loan, the fact that the brother was able to pay back the loan by selling influence to China makes Biden a beneficiary of the transaction.

If someone owes me money, and he can’t pay it, then he uses my influence to solicit funds from another party and uses those funds to pay me, I am beneficiary of the transaction.

Merely saying he “paid back a loan” doesn’t remove me from any corruption involved in getting the funds to pay the loan.

Well that would be alright.

Taking out loans from accredited banks and paying them back according to the terms of the loan is what would be a prosecutable offense.
