We obviously need to return some organizers and influencers back to the work force. No shame in digging ditches or packing boxes on an assembly line. Certainly better than whoring yourself out to activists making six figure salaries while feeding you a $50 cash per-diem and a free lawyer to bail you out.
As conservatives, it is one of the issues we face. I ran into it recently. My state, the bluest of the blue, has been trying for the last year to push draconian gun control measures through the legislative process, but fortunately, we have the Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) in this state, and they keep the members up to date on what is going on.
Last month, they had a rally in the state capitol to protest the proposed legislation, but...it is on a Wednesday or Thursday. I cannot get off work to go (and it was short notice)
But I notice these people NEVER have difficulty getting to a protest.
