The State of South Dakota is facing almost the same Constitutional amendment in November 2024 if the proponents are able to gather sufficient signatures to get it on the ballot.
Proponents are using deceptive tactics claiming it is a women’s health issue in order to gather signatures from folks not reading and understanding the deceptive and broad wording of the amendment.

Correct. And they are flushed with cash from the liberal grassroots while the opposition struggles to raise even a fraction of the funds. The proponents' TV ads are warm and soft - portraying it as a conservative, pro-family values vote in tone and appearance.
