Nah, use acetylene, but stand farther away!

Not at all the same. Propane is heavier than air, so it goes down, pooling in the object until it is full, then it overflows.

Acetylene is lighter than air so if you start to discharge it Into a tunnel it will find its way up into the atmosphere

So if you want roasting and or collateral damage, comparatively speaking... Propane is the choice.
