If they want to write articles, then they can do that.
But I don't think they do well on TV. If you are a talented politician, it's too easy to "toy with the emotions" of a female reporter, especially in the political arena.
If they want to do weather on 6:00 news, that's more their speed.
I infer you don’t know any of them. They are the toughest, no-nonsense, plain talking, no-hold-barred investigative journalists out there. Men seem cowed and pull their punches. These women are tough.
