That's the problem with relying on the US for your defense. Sooner or later the morons in the State Department will start pressuring you to "come to the negotiating table" with the same people who just attacked you out of the blue. It's happening with Israel too - the difference there is that Israel can go quite a while hammering away at Hamas while resisting US pressure. Same can't be said for Ukraine.

Should have kept those nukes at the end of the Cold War, Ukrainians. Personally, I'm fine with Ukraine fighting off the Russians and driving them back to their own country - just do it without my tax dollars.

Not sure what your point is. Israel exists because of the US taxpayer. Their military and any warring they do is completely funded by us.
