As long as Traitor Joe can read a promoter and take earpiece direction he will stay. Newsome is plan B which they will execute if Biden get worse but for now he will be the nominee he is the perfect stooge who does whatever he is told

American liberal Boomer Jews holding power in academia and the media have largely pushed this ideology amongst younger Americans.

What goes around comes around.

African-Americans carry deep within them the psychological scars of slavery/Jim Crow. These scars are passed on through the generations.

Democrats control all the levers of society which enable them to tap into and enflame this internal terror and lack of trust.

Not if polling continues to show Trump winning.

The only way Biden remained the safe choice was because earlier polling had him comfortably beating Trump.

I saw a bumper sticker that said, "BIDEN SUCKS! VOTE FOR BIDEN!" that summed up this mentality. "We know our guy is terrible but at least he'll beat Trump."

This may no longer be the case.

they're conditioned to see everything through the lens of racism. So when they see Palestinians, they see fellow oppressed brown people. When they see Israelis, they see white people in positions of power and authority

You've nailed it.

The rare articles that you post that may appear favorable to Trump....

don’t make up for the gaslighting and attacks on Trump a majority of your post do.

We’ve already had an example where you said desantis was done...

and yet, have continued your attacks on Trump.

I will continue to support DeSantis until he's out of the race because I consider him the better candidate and all around better person.

I consider Trump an old-fashioned New York liberal who made a lot of great promises but didn't follow through.

This being said, I prefer Trump to Biden by an order of magnitude and if Trump wins the primary, he'll get my vote.

Also, polls showing Trump beating Biden are of no help to my guy. But I have integrity and honesty so I'm not going to put my head in the sand and pretend they don't exist.

What do those two things have to do with each other?

DeSantis is finished, has been finished for weeks.

Pointing out the obvious does not make Drew68 a Trump supporter, why should it? Maybe he dislikes them both.

I'm voting for Trump in the NH primary, I will probably write him in in the Fall if he's not on the ballot.

But there's plenty to criticize about Trump, especially his lack of situational awareness and his inability to take control of the Executive Branch - none of which has anything to do with whether or not you should be a DeSantis supporter.

We need to throw a spanner into the works, and Trump is the spanner.

That’s not cynicism.

African-Americans are a people, a nation. It’s perfectly fine for individuals in that population who might benefit from a Republican administration to oppose it anyway because it would be bad for their people.

White Americans have become intoxicated by me-first individualism. You see it every day here, FR is drowning in it. They even move to gated communities guarded by Haitians with machine guns because the greens fees are cheaper there.

Atomized individuals can never prevail in a contest between nations.

Like I said polling has shown Trump winning the Rust belt states (other then IL) for at least 4 months now minimal.. media has ignored it until the last maybe 2-4 weeks have they started to publish articles like this.

Something we need to start hammering on right now is that Biden is only the figurehead for the Obama Left, and that it's the Obama Left that's the cause of all the nation's misery, not Biden per se.

So when they pop up with a new figurehead, no matter how attractive, (and they will), the electorate must realize that it's really just the same old same old. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

What if he won’t go? He is so arrogant, he really believes he is FDR and Bidenomics is awesome, why would he quit?
What if in his senality, he starts telling the press that his party’s thugs want him out, but he’s not going anywhere.

The general election is a year away. So the war in Gaza may be over by then. Joe Biden will be able to find his pivot again and focus on the domestic issues, especially abortion. The War in Gaza will be over by then.

I don't think that's a great idea.

Outside of Free Republic, the Obamas are held in pretty high esteem and people generally remember the Obama years as not being particularly difficult.

Free Republic has never been an accurate thermometer of the voting populace at large and out in the real world, many Americans view Barack Obama as an effective, competent leader.

Furthermore, it's distressing at how poorly MAGA candidates and conservative issues have performed in EVERY election since Dobbs. That's why I take all of these polls with a great deal of skepticism.

We'll see on Tuesday how Virginia plays out.
