It sounds more like if you feel you must be vaccinated you have no faith in your immune system.
Oh, I do "have faith" in my immune system. I know that my immune system will take at least two weeks to develop a specific immune response consisting of T-cells, B-cells, and antibodies. That's how long it takes to get immunity following exposure to a pathogen.
I'd rather be exposed to a part of a pathogen in a vaccine and feel well while my immunity develops than get sick and be miserable for two weeks or longer waiting for immunity to finally kick in. I'd also rather avoid the heart, lung, kidney, brain, and other organ damage that an infection causes. Sometimes, the Covid virus destroys the very cells in the immune system that are responsible for adaptive immunity in the first place, so I'd also prefer not to have some virus destroy my immune system.
