He’s not wrong. It’s not just homosexuality itself, but what it represented. Homosexuals only care about their pleasure in life, no matter the cost to society. When you have most people thinking of just themselves, regardless of the cost to society, you will have societal collapse.
I think the real damage is the destruction of critical thinking and common sense.
Our survival and success as a species depends largely on our ability to apply our senses to situations and discern threats, opportunities and conditions - and make wise choices.
A key component of critical thinking is recognizing what is normal or familiar vs. what is abnormal or strange.
For example, being suspicious of a stranger or someone who looks different from us was a survival behavior for a million years of evolution - but in modern times we teach our children that such discrimination is a bad thing.
Homosexuality and so-called transexuality are clearly abnormalities, yet woke society punishes anyone who voices that opinion or acts accordingly. We are supposed to act like it’s normal.
When the rules of society are at odds with reality, this creates cognitive dissonance, and critical thinking and common sense are destroyed.
The next time modern generations face any sort of fight for survival, whether from war, famine, natural disaster or other - we will be completely ill equipped to win that fight if we regard as normal that which is abnormal.

Isn’t that what every red blooded American conservative believes are their “god given rights”?
The homos, the trans, women that get nose jobs, etc. they are just using their freedom (liberty) to pursue their happiness.
Are you saying the founders were wrong in naming those three things as God given rights?
Or were they maybe a bit too generous and idealistic in the dispensing of “rights”? Maybe they should have added an asterisk referring to pages of fine print limiting those “rights”?

This was true, the beginning of the end was when rampant self satisfaction became rampant. The same is true of America. It seems like forever since abortion became widespread. Followed by promiscuity, buggery, pedophilia, and homo marriage. Now we have highly educated women who are too old to have children, and are not interested. Boys and men out to get jiggy with anything that jiggles, and 40-50 year old hedonists. The best thing in life is cruises, vacations, art, travel and vacationing...and sex... lots of sex.
