My impression of the Germans is that they are idiots.
Hmmmm...maybe some, especially in the media and the politicians, e.g the vaunted Power Elite.
Everyone I know personally had been sceptical from the get-go, although hardly one was as radical as I am (, who would have advocated no migration from anywhere and automatization instead, as the Japanese, “what is left of Germany is ours, remains ours”).
Only in that they care about world opinion. They should put Germany First. If that upsets non-Germans, too bad.
