And, all things considered, I would probably do more sitting around killing time if I were recalled than I do now in retirement. Before I left military and civil service, I was spending probably close to 20 hours or more of a 60+ hour work-week attending "mandatory" classes or "attending" multi-hour online training, most of which were for what I considered as "woke training".
Just between you and me though, the extended work-week hours resulted from the classes that I was required to attend, with the extra hours needed to just perform my normal duties ...
