I agree with your statement. That fat cat money definitely helps spur people on to pull the lever for self-serving or government serving twits. I don’t think there are enough people who would actually take up arms in this country to save her from the rot within. We laugh at France but the people there continue to rise up. We have the advantage with arms but folks are just happy to go along with the status quo as long as they have internet and tv.
According to a Paul Harvey’s Rest of the Story that I remember, during the Revolutionary War, the loyalists far outnumbered the rebel colonists, but the latter were passionate about their cause, while the loyalists were complacent for the most part, and those that were not complacent, either were a militia auxiliary to the royal troops and the mercenaries, or disguised themselves as Indians and burnt farms and scalped people, or were Indians who burnt farms and scalped people.
