The main issue that matters then and now is a regional conflict can escalate and lead to a major war. The murder of the archduke created violence which led to a domino effect of county after country joining the war—becoming a WORLD WAR.

Which is the point I’m making. Again irrelevant what Hamas is doing except it’s the starting point of the war just as the assassination was back then. This war with Hamas could lead to another domino effect. Hamas attacks—Israel DOW—Yemen DOW—next? Iran DOW—USA DOW etc etc. Another WORLD War.

That Austrian-Hungary wasn’t exactly small is true (yet still smaller than Russia, British Empire—French Empire—USA) is again irrelevant to the main point I was making.

The grubby little Serbian jerks, the Black Hand ( not to be confused with anything Italian, BTW ), and some Russian minor Royals all included were NOTHING WHATSOEVER akin to Hamas, Iran, etc. behind the attack on Israel now!

Also, there are NO alliances, NOW, with with the governments of Egypt, Jordan, and some others, with Hamas and/or Hezbollah; neither of which are NATIONS!
