Everyone talking about Yemen declaring war on Israel need to chill.
First: this article (which is literally two lines, so barely even that) doesn’t even reference the Nexta report used as its source. Bad form.
Second: This is the nature of the source in question - “Report News Agency started its activity in 2014. The company is a part of the Global Media Group. Third: It takes not even thirty seconds to look up and find out that Yahya Sare’e is affiliated with the Houthi rebels (backed by Iran, opposed by Saudi Arabia), and not the recognized government of Yemen. So the first line about him being the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces ***isn’t even true***. (Coincidentally, this apparently means that the official position of Report News Agency is that they think the Houthis are the official government of Yemen at this juncture.)
Y’all need to cool your jets and take a moment to actually read between the lines before flying off the handle about the country of Yemen itself declaring war on Israel.
