Carjacking should be a capital offense, it is a modern equivalent of horse thieving.A lot of the screaming done about the approx. 6,000 lynchings that actually took place in the U.S. ignores the large percentage that were of white horse thieves. Stealing a horse was a capital offense in the 19th century.
