Great try. Let rats defend $Bs to IRS or no $ to Israel. Public won’t like either. Moreover, Republicans, House and Senate, are likely to support this. Hope Speaker picks the trade offs for any Ukraine spending as well as this one.
I’d say just pass Israeli aid as a stand-alone bill, no tie-ins with anything.
Force the Dems to vote on the bill straight up, force Biden to sign the bill or veto it. Force him to accept that IRS funding, Ukraine aid, will each be separate packages and that if Biden doesn’t like those packages, tough. The Israeli aid will already have been settled and Ukraine and the IRS can suck it if they don’t like what the House passes for them.

Schumer has been very quiet … guess they need to ‘focus group’ a way forward first …. As for Israel Aid, the longer they wait, the greater the radical left protests are going to get .. seems to me they can’t wait to long ..

Yes that would be great.I LOVE this guy. I don’t agree with him on Ukraine, but it is great to finaly have a Biblical leader.

A Biblical leader would not keep funding the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians using US taxpayer money. Especially for a war with no results for all the money spent.
They would also acknowledge the money laundering and criminal activity in the disbursement of those funds.
It’s more than just a poison pill. It is a political move. Hopefully the GOP won’t sabotage it before they let the Democrats decide - do they want to reject aid to help eradicate Hamas terrorists, or do they want to arm IRS agents. Makes them make a choice. Biden is already in a box he can’t ditch Israel now.
