This issue of Natural Born citizenship comes up regularly on Free Republic.

Some Freepers say , that both of your parents must have been American citizens at the time of your birth , for you to be a natural born citizen.

Other Freepers say, as long as you yourself were born in America ,that makes you an American citizen ,regardless of the citizenship status of your parents.

We have many opinionated Freepers on both sides of this issue. Both sets of Freepers cannot be right. Which Freepers are we supposed to believe?
