“addressing our borders”
We need to wall off our money by constitutional tax caps.
If they cannot get it passed it is a huge victory for the people as well. Imagine RINOs backed into the corner of having to do an up down vote on things that are good for their constituents. In the words of the corrupt RINOs in the Texas House "don't cut me bros" e.g. you can have whatever you want just don't make me actually have to put my name on a vote my constituents will hate.
Biden just keeps sending them OUR ARMS...and bypasses needed approvals.
You don’t but they’re determined to send something.
At least the ‘win’ here is that it’s not combined with UKRAINE which is going to be a tough sell.
Make them squirm.
good to keep them separate...
just say no to ukraine weapons.
give humaitarian aid as a compromise.
release the J6 tapes.
did anyone ask about J6 tapes in any interview????
Only a Nazi lovin’ Canadian Zeeper believes Joe Biden and his criminal cohort in the pee green T shirt in Ukraine is going to get what he wants.
If any, this will probably be the last time that midget grunting US installed pig in Ukraine gets a flat dime.
Schumer is occupied with real concerns over Israel. Who knew that was possible?. Even he is being “blown away” with something other than progressives and their feigned concerns for the “agenda” of the wokes.
He has not spoken about the J6, the border or crime yet
I think you need to give him a chance....
I hope you’re right
That will be the next item, and it will be passed, and signed, before the house passes the next ukraine “maintenance and resupply” stand alone bill is passed.
Johnson will leverage the hell out of Ukraine anything... to get his more “biblical” priorities in place.
with enough balls, he might even create a complete lameduck party made up of leftists, and rinos... that is even now splintering over Israel support... Leverage is nice... see tagline.
once he gets each thing he wants, he will move the goal posts... NICE.
It would be nice if we addressed all of our domestic issues, but we won’t.
The jackasses here will state we can walk and chew gum.
Though we have proven otherwise for multiple decades.
He’ll show them how it’s done 😁
I’m philosophically opposed to giving taxpayer money to foreign governments for any reason. But I’m glad this won’t be tied to that clusterflop in Ukraine.

Gun grabber Lindsay Graham led a delegation of US Senators....5 Repubs and 5 Dems.... to Israel. Maryland Democrat Ben Cardin, Rhode Island Democratic Jack Reed, Alaska Republican Dan Sullivan, Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut, Susan Collins (Maine Republican), Cory Booker (New Jersey Democrat), Katie Britt (Alabama Republican), Chris Coons, Delaware Senator, John Thune, SDakota Senator.
Israeli Leader Yair Lapid (center) asked for more US military aid
while Senators pledge yet another multi-billion dollar pkg to Israel.
Unless the DEMs (and some RINOs) find a way to have Johnson removed. Payback for McCarthy?
"Our Speaker is MAGA AF!"
Addressing Israel before our border says everything.
No person in DC deserves the benefit of doubt.
I don’t know how all this will play out regarding Ukraine funding in this particular instance, but IMO ALL bills should be stand alone bills. This bundling of separate issues into giant omnibus bills is a large part of the dis function in Congress. If something is important enough to fund, it is important enough to have legislative action and debate about the issue without adding all kinds of unrelated crap to a proposed bill. All the bundling does is give legislators cover for voting for bills that otherwise would not (and should not) pass on their own merits.
For example, you bundle something like “no Medicare or Medicaid funding for states that have certain restrictions on abortion” with “increased pay for active duty troops” and legislators are faced with the dilemma of either voting in favor of a bill that will increase abortions or be accused of voting against paying our active duty troops. Each of these should be considered separately on its own merits. Too often unrelated issues are shoved together to get unpopular bills passed.
