Then leave fr

I have friends on here and enjoy the back and forth debate.

It's nothing personal, I just believe it's time that our nation takes care of its own and not the rest of the world.

It's not just foreign aid; our government is completely infiltrated by foreign interests and their lobbying groups.

We have no say in our representative Republic anymore.

I'm done with the wars. I'm done with the U.S. meddling in other countries' affairs.

“There are lots of things going on around the world that we have to address, and we will.”

I’m SURE he meant to say “There are lots of things going on in the USA that we have to address, and we will.” /s

but what do I know?

The US must only go to war if attacked. But Hamas killed, and is holding American Citizens.( I know some people argue that Israli Americans aren’t Citizens, but they are.) China killed 1 million Americans. Russia is no threat to us, and did not kill any Americans. No globalist orgs, support for, but not nescessarl6 aid for Israel, and foccus on China.

Soldiers Unpaid: National Guard Hasn’t Paid Out Thousands of Enlistment Bonuses
10/29/2023, 4:54:03 PM · by DFG · 9 replies
Military.com via Yahoo ^ | 10/27/2023 | Steve Beynon

The National Guard is behind paying at least 9,000 soldiers the bonuses they were promised for signing up, according to a service component source with direct knowledge of the situation, with some soldiers and their families telling Military.com that payments have been missing for years.

The delays are so severe that Guard officials are tracking an additional 3,900 soldiers who completed their service and left the military without getting any bonus payment, though some may have lost eligibility. “I was really relying on this money to help with moving into a new place with my wife,” one soldier said.

Pathetic, isn’t it? We’re not paying our service members bonus reliably.

Reason #23348 not to join the military: They military isn’t reliably paying those promised bonuses.

I’d say so. We need to stop throwing money down the Ukraine rat hole and asking for nothing.

I’ll wait until it’s over and done with to rejoice. One of the reasons McCarthy was dumped, was because he had promised to introduce more standalone Bills, but never did, and there were plenty of opportunities when he should have.

Good. It’s simply the way things should be. Different concerns different bills. Allow the Democrats to put forth a bill funding Gaza and Hamas. Let them die on their votes.

Is this a victory, Freepers?

I can't deny that it is, and I'm one Freeper that is still in favor of some support for the Ukraine. Ukraine support though, for a number of reasons, must be considered separately from support for Israel.

Stand alone bills would be the victory.

I want see stand alone CRs for each department: defense, education, welfare, etc etc

YEET !!!

WASHINGTON, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Newly installed U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson said on Sunday he expects floor action this week to advance a funding bill to support Israel exclusively, even though President Joe Biden is pushing for a $106 billion aid package for Israel and Ukraine combined.

“We’re going to move a stand-alone Israel funding bill this week in the House,” Johnson said in an interview on Fox News, adding that he believes the measure will draw bipartisan support and that Republicans will back a similar measure in the Senate.

Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, which Republicans control by a narrow majority, are scheduled to return from a recess on Wednesday.

“Just why are we sending Israel more funding over the current 3.8 billion they get every year?”

I’m not cheerleading for spending. The Israel funding will prevent the Arab world and Iran from getting nuked.

It is to provide a conventional defense so Israel does not get overwhelmed by a multi-front assault + heavy missile attacks which could (maybe “would”) otherwise ensure a nuclear response. We are protecting the Hamas fans from themselves.
