Yes they told them repeatedly, so it’s not like they weren’t warned.

They advised Gazans to go to the south end of Gaza. That area is somewhat safer. Beyond that, though, aside from some UN people going in and out with aid, the borders are closed. I don’t even know if those with US citizenship were allowed out yet?
