Yup .... he eluded capture & was ‘out there’ for 5 years. He was eventually arrested (by a rookie police officer, no less) looking through a dumpster at 4 a.m.
We’re headed into winter .... surviving a Maine winter in the woods would be difficult. Card may know the woods well, but if he doesn’t have some sort of shelter/provisions pre-planned & stashed out there, he’ll likely end up dumpster diving as well ....

That ‘if’ is the big question... if he did get out of there by water, that definitely shows some pre-planning.... he can be far away by now.
Plenty of empty vacation houses and cabins for him to stay in. If he's smart he isn't running around the woods lighting up whatever FLIR equipped drones have been deployed. My bet is he'll hunker in some vacant shelter with a wood stove that might even have canned goods on the shelves.
