So Billionaires who worked hard, and already paid tax on their accumulated wealth will be hit with another tax because it’s “not fair” that they’re billionaires?

Correct. They will be taxed again, because it’s not fair to the socialist Marxist communist types, that they have such wealth.

What they don’t realize, or don’t care about, is that these billionaires don’t necessarily have many millions of dollars in the bank, to pay these taxes.

Billionaires and multi millionaires may be in that wealthy category, because they own companies, or property worth that much. It doesn’t mean they have all this money in the bank, ready to write a check to the tax man.

Some may well have to sell some property, to get the cash to pay such a tax.

And remember when a new tax is introduced, it tends to expand in the years ahead. They can say now, it’s only a 2% tax on the wealthiest of the wealthy. How long until that tax base goes way down to those of more limited wealth, and how long until that minor 2% tax rate inflates???

The gap between the rich and those with nothing seems to really really REALLY bother some people for some unknown reason.

I can’t imagine why, except for it being a nice talking point to gin up class tension and drive people to the polls.

But what these people fail to understand is that there will ALWAYS be people who have NOTHING and who WANT to do nothing.

Which means there will always be people at the low end with ZERO.

So as society grows richer... OF COURSE THE GAP BETWEEN THE RICH AND POOR IS GOING TO GROW!
