I just keep my mouth shut and do the job my boss tells me to do. When I have to help a customer they get my best effort regardless of their point of view and I move on. I collect my pay, go home and tell my family I love them.
That’s how I am as well.
We are there at work,to do a job, and you work with others to accomplish the work related tasks.
I don’t know my co-workers views on the social and political issues of the day, and I really don’t want to know. We are there to work, not to get into political differences.
I do my best to tune out gossip. For example, years ago, some people were gossiping that one of our co-workers was a homosexual. He did his job, and was a good member of our team. I didn’t want to know or think about whether he was a homosexual.
Helpful advice I received back in the 70s from a CPO.
Don’t talk about politics, sex, or religion.
Retired now—but what I noticed is that is was leftists who were loud-mouths about their politics in the workplace.
Conservatives tended to keep a low profile and focus on getting the job done—firm boundaries between work and personal life/beliefs.
When the leftists ranted I just pretended they were speaking Chinese—it helped me follow the Godfather rule:
“Never tell anybody outside the family what you are thinking.”
You don’t want to be Sonny.

The four of you did a great job here with your common sense replies.
Go to work and leave the politics/religion at home.
My parents told us 3 topics to never discuss with co- workers were:
Religion
Salary
Politics.
