President Joe Biden received his worst ever favorability and job approval ratings from registered New York voters, a Siena College poll released Tuesday found.
According to the poll, Biden has a negative 45-52% favorability rating, down from 50-45% last month, and a negative 46-51% job approval rating, down from 47-48% last month.
This all comes about a year out from the 2024 presidential election, in which Biden is largely expected to remain the Democratic nominee, although the poll found a small majority of New York Democrats, 52-41%, say they want a different nominee.
Former President Donald Trump has a 36-59% favorability rating among New Yorkers and Republicans view him favorably 70-24% and want to see him be their party’s nominee 61-32%.
Biden leads Trump 46-37% in a potential head-to-head matchup, which is down from 52-31% last month. In a four-way matchup, with independents Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornell West, Biden leads Trump by just seven points in the Empire State. Kennedy has 13% and West has 5%. In 2020, Biden carried New York by 22 points over Trump.
“Is New York still ‘true blue?’ True, 49% of voters are enrolled as Democrats and only 23% as Republicans. True, the last Republican presidential candidate to win here was Ronald Reagan in 1984…. “The good news for Biden is the election is more than a year away. The bad news is there’s more bad news.”
Regarding the ongoing migrant situation in the state, a strong majority of voters, 84%, call the influx a serious problem, the poll found. Nearly two-thirds, up slightly from August, say New Yorkers have done enough for new migrants and must now work to slow the flow of migrants …

Once you get out of Manhattan, Trump did very well in many other areas of New York State, save for a few pockets in Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo. But agreed, NYC would probably still vote mindlessly and overwhelmingly Democrat no matter what.
NYS went to all mail-in for a reason.
NYC has RCV for the same reason.
We are NOT voting for this.
Then why did the state go all mail-in, and why does Gotham have RCV?
Trump’s chances of winning New York are low even in a fair election. Ditto for California and small states like Delaware and Hawaii. However, New York and California are useful because the Democrats in the deep blue counties can crank out enough ballots to ensure the Democrats have a numerical majority. While that number is meaningless respective to the Electoral College, it gives them bragging rights if Biden or another Democrat receives 52-53% of the popular vote.
If they were low, Deep State wouldn’t have to steal our elections, would it...
Ditto for California.
CA has not only gone all mail-in, it just banned hand counting of ballots.
Now why would Deep State need to do that if CA is so reliably lefty...?
Governor Hochul Signs Legislation to Ensure Eligible Votes Are Counted
The devil, Deep State, is truly in the details.
LOL. Like it matters, right?
The destruction of a school system that engenders critical thinking skills has been coupled with an attack on election integrity. New York and an increasing number of other jurisdictions will therefore vote for the Demon Rat party for the next 200 years...of course the Republic probably won’t last that long...
I suspect many Jews saw the hatred Pedo Joe and the Democrats have for them and are moving away from them. That alone would move the NY numbers dramatically.
...and they’ll vote for him again, anyway.
The Mayor is currently asking to bring in millions of Palestinians; of course these will be less of a burden than Mexicans.
That’s what she’s really about.
Indeed
New York voters still wondering what was I thinking by voting for him.
So what. They will still vote for him. Misery loves company.
