I live in Eugene.
AntiFa and the Anti-Israel scum pretty much have free rein to run wild in the city, courtesy of the Eugene Police acting as the enforcement arm of the thug liberal politicians here; but, conservatives and patriots are harassed and given no such leeway as the freaks are given.
My policy is and shall remain: if I ever see an EPD officer being beaten or killed, I will dial 9-11 and walk away. My concealed carry weapon will remain concealed.
The local sheriff and deputies, I would defend to my fullest ability.
With the woman I love being a cop (nowhere near Eugene), it hurts to hear that. But, she and her Texas suburb department are honorable and probably even more disgusted than us by these corrupt departments.
