Not on Trump’s team. They had hoped to work WITH her but decided against it.

Trump Legal Team Distances from Sidney Powell

A source who spoke to Breitbart News on background suggested that the team had hoped to work with her, but that Powell’s public claims had gone beyond the scope of the evidence they had seen and believed they could prove in court.
Powell had pursued a theory that Dominion voting machines, operating with Smartmatic software, were manipulable and had been responsible for switching votes from Trump to Democratic challenger Joe Biden. She also alleged that Dominion had worked with foreign governments, including Venezuela, and produced an affidavit purporting to support that allegation.
She had not yet provided evidence that votes had actually been changed, however, and has faced increasing public criticism.

I say bat####, in that she might be bat#### crazy.
Very likely not.
But after the GA statement, it’s an option that should be kept open.
She accuses the gov and SOS basically of bribery.
I can believe that.
Then she says “that’s certainly what I’ve been told”
Told!?!?
You don’t make a statement like that based on what you’ve been “told”.
Let’s see what happens.

Totally agree. I’ve heard her say this type of thing regarding the allegations she’s made on more than one occasion.
She may have a great reputation, but everything I’ve seen to date since she got engaged after Nov 3 has looked pretty iffy. You don’t win on “told”, “I’ve heard”, “I think” or similar. You win on “I have irrefutable, hardcore EVIDENCE”.
For God’s sake..this thing is turning into a circus, I’m afraid.

That’s the act she tried to pull on the Mark Levin show (and then Levin had to cut her off.) “This and this happened” turns into I haven’t verified to that’s just “what I was told” and haven’t had time to look into it really.

Great.
I cannot take anything she says at face value anymore.
I have been told too many times that this person or that person is the bomb and can be trusted and this and that.
Only to find later...no.
Like sessions, and gowdy before him..etc.
She seems like a grandstander

If that is what happened, then Powell may be one of our fake-conservative grifters, a species I am unsure most FReepers have totally acknowledged as existing. I’ve seen a great many of these, most of them went dormant after 2016 or joined the Trump train eventually (originally they were all anti-Trump). And I don’t mean the Bill Kristol types. I mean the weirdo grifters on our side who peddle in disinformation and “owning the libs” while accomplishing nothing. Ted Cruz was a text book example, then he reformed (at least in my sight) as the years went on. Though Cruz will likely revert to being a useless grifter once Trump is gone.
At this point, I’m hanging my hat on one thing: putting everything on the line to advocate for secession here in my native Texas.
Hopefully Trump pulls this out and defeats the fraud, or, even better, calls us to the street for an armed revolution. But I don’t see that happening.
