The fix is to make the Universities co-borrowers on all student loans paid to the university.

If the student was not provided adequate education to make them a profitable member of society and thus are unable to pay back their loans, the university has to pay it back.

That’s the fix.

I don’t disagree that your idea is suitable but we also need to allow that our universities are filled with middle easterners that are paying cash oil money to enrich universities and they are here often on educational visas or recent immigrants allowed by the last decades of ignoring our immigration laws.

There are some where it is over 20% or 30% foreign students. A George Mason law student claimed 44% recently.

“The fix is to make the Universities co-borrowers on all student loans paid to the university.”

Nailed it. However, the turds will then attempt to give all the uneducated and dorky college losers gubmit jobs with good pay and permanent tenure. No, wait, that’s what’s already happened.

My suggestion is to force them to hold student loans of their own graduates in their endowment.

Yes, the university needs to be a partner in student loans, but certainly not the American public. They have enough problems already. Perhaps I should have attended college back when I was of the age(MANY years ago)but I never did as there was no money for it, but I guess I could have done it through the military. Not quite what sure the college possibilities( financially speaking)were back in the 50s, but at least I might have gotten a decent education. I sure wouldn’t be interested now as a very senior citizen. It wouldn’t accomplish anything for me at this late date...and I can’t imagine being willing to put up with the crap it would almost surely present nowadays. I don’t understand any sane person wanting to attend many of the colleges that are available now...for many reasons.
