And does he have a clear sense of what Hamas’s goal is?
I aGree with some of this. How could it take so long for the military to respond to a massive breach like this?
I’m thinking they thought having hundreds of troops on the border was sufficient.
I haven’t seen any reports of the numbers of jihadis, but if it were three thousand, then yeah, three thousand jihadis attacking 5-10 miles along a highway, anything they could find, that would be hard to mobilize a response force to, even in the US.
Doesn’t make it any less cheesy.
The Bible also has them wandering in the desert for forty years.
I saw the interview. He condemned the Hamas attack as barbaric, etc.
His main point is that we should promote US interests. I think his priorities are Taiwan (since rely on them for semiconductors, I think), Israel, then Ukraine.
For myself, I’d like for Israel to re-draw the map. Of course, Biden and others would reject that out of hand.
Vivek thinks we should support Israel morally (verbally), with votes in the UN and etc. He probably supports logistical and financial support (but to what degree?).
I think he is right that recent adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan did not turn out as planned. Given our incompetence (I blame Democrats), we can expect things to go wrong pretty much wherever we intervene. So, tread with care.
I don’t think he has the answers, nor the Israelis, nor anyone else, who has a voice. For myself, I think Israel should take space. If anyone ever had a justification for wanting Lebensraum, it is Israel. Not even the Israelis have mustered the resolve to take that step.
Again, Vivek wants to promote US interests first. Not such a bad idea.
‘Bye, Vivek.
Actually I want to hear what Vivek has to say. He is smart. I like to hear what they all have to say. Free speech always and forever and America first. Look out for your own values and is my motto. I don’t buy into putting others first.
Sure, listen to the illegible anchor baby that does not understand American values, culture, and all you want, but don’t think any but a few misguided Americans will ever vote for him.

Whoops sorry dbl post.
It was worth two and a half posts.
I prefer him to the other Indian-American candidate, Niki Haley. Trump gets my support. As for the others, I don’t know if there are any announced candidates better than Vivek. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are among my favorite Senators.
A liberal relative told me that Niki, Governor of South Carolina, used a church shooting to get rid of the Confederate flag. That’s sick, and not in a good way.
I consider the emblem of the Democratic party to be a symbol or racism, given that party’s support for slavery, the KKK, segregation, etc. It’s time for that symbol, and the party, to be torn down.
