Is S/F so backward they dont have signage ordinances?
In other cities, this scumbag would be closed down
lickety-split due to non-adherence to sign ordinances.
My own town has pulled out all kinds of old ordinances to keep homeless from setting up encampments, such as no pitching tents in public parks or along public sidewalks, no loitering in bus shelters or on public benches, etc. It’s kept the homeless out - cops enforce it, Thank God (this is in California of all places).
I had to run an errand the other day and noticed a homeless person with all of his belongings and a tent starting to set up under the freeway bridge near me (also within a block of an elementary school) - returned several hours later and the homeless person was nowhere in sight. Ditto for the local parks where homeless have tried to set up - they are cleared out immediately.
When I take my dogs to the local parks to walk, they are clean, kids are playing on the equipment, old people are playing chess, there are walkers getting in their steps - not a homeless tent in sight.
