Americans are a very forgiving people, almost to a fault. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to people who made mistakes then sincerely apologized and have done better since. I have been forgiven by people whom I wronged and disappointed and am very grateful for that chance.

I know that this is hard to believe but every once in a while a person with a bad history turns around and does good. A little forgiveness and understanding can actually be a good thing. Then again, maybe we need to abide by the same “zero tolerance” plan that has got the Democrats where they are today. The Democrats are now considered to be entirely incorruptible and are the cream of society. Just ask them, they’ll tell you all about it.
