The latest ABC/WaPo poll was the only pure measurement of Independents, who decide everything.
They are moving to Trump and his anti elitist positions.
This event in the House will have zero impact on House won or lost next year because Independents decide that and they care zero about this event.
ABC/WaPo partisan mixture in the poll, 25%Dem/25%GOP/47% Independent — because that is the known reality. It is also the mix used in their previous poll, so the poll’s change of result (Trump +10) reflects actual change of opinion and not change of partisan mix.
Lots of folks moving toward Trump... but I’d still like to see Jordan win speakership.
