It seems like the puppet president should at least be able to handle the ceremonial crap. We need to expand the universe of eligibles to baseball managers or football coaches who can at least think on their feet enough to provide sound bites at half-time and postgame. It’s fun to imagine Billy Martin, or Dusty Baker, but Bob Melvin would be serviceable.
