Referencing Matt Gaetz fighting back by using a rape analogy is creepy and distasteful. Very recently, Gaetz was being investigated for statutory rape.
While the DOJ dropped their investigation due to unreliable witnesses, there are still ongoing ethics investigations in the US House, and possible Florida state investigation too. Surely, there is a better analogy to use with Matt Gaetz other than rape.
