It is well known that a court has no enforcement power of itself
************************************************************
Maybe in your state but not Texas. A State District Judge CAN find you in contempt and CAN put your ass in jail. I know. It happened to me twice over the past 40+ years. Once for not turning over tax returns to my X in a post divorce child support INCREASE fight and once for withholding child support when the X was interfering with my visitation. Both times were two days in the clink.
Did the judge or one his clerks get up and strong-arm you to jail?
Of course not, he needed a cop (executive branch) to enforce his ruling. Without the support of the executive side, the court's decisions are powerless.
