@heatherscope

JEFFRIES in caucus this AM:

“We have two clear objectives: stop Jim Jordan from becoming Speaker, and reopen the House of Representatives so we can get back to work,” he told Dems, according to sources in room.

MORE from caucus: JEFFRIES floated idea of elevating Speaker Pro Tem McHenry

Jeffries told Dems the “specifics” are less important right now than convincing Republicans who don’t like Jordan that Dems will actually work with them

Jeffries also warned Dems would “tattoo” this vote for Jordan on every Republican who supports him today on the floor

Dems only a handful of seats away from taking back the House next year....

“Jeffries also warned Dems would “tattoo” this vote for Jordan on every Republican who supports him today on the floor “

Entirely to be expected, Republicans used the name Pelosi as often as they could against Dem Reps.

It will remain to be seen if Jordan is as unpopular nationally as Dems seem to think he is.

The Dems are terrified - they know that Jordan, with support from Gaetz, are two of the only men in the house with the Gonads and the Resumes to expose the Operating Pedo Elite cabal.

Hakeem, here’s the path forward: it’s Jordan or nothing, and I can live with nothing. So let’s be bipartisan and have a few dozen Dems vote for Jordan.

Yes, the Republicans can certainly trust the democrats in the house. I mean what could go wrong…just ask last speaker about the democrats and his back.

I listen to and watch Hakeem Jeffries and wonder who his acting coach is.

This is the final push to stop Jordon. It is the exact play they use to give the rats effective control over the Texas House and it might work.

“I wonder what the Dems have on McHenry.”

The Democrats don’t need to have anything on Patrick McHenry. He’s one of their own.

Sounds like the Dems and the assistant Dems (RINO holdouts) are on the same team, as suspected.

This whole circus act falls into the category of “be careful what you wish for, you might get it”. Gaetz is a self-promoting idiot IMO.

What are we going to tattoo on the Dems for starting WW III? I vote for the radioactive hazard symbol.

Is Patrick McHenry related to James McHenry (signer of the US Constitution and namesake of Fort McHenry)?

As if the Republicans would screw with the Democrats if the situation was reversed.

It’s really not a good look to be unable to even select a leader, although if one is trying to argue that the government can’t accomplish anything.......
