They are feverishly working towards that end. Our own government has declared conservatives are domestic terrorists and intimated that they are more dangerous than the taliban. There is a massive push to paint conservatives as domestic terrorists and dangerous to society.

The liberal view is that talk radio is hate speech.
Remember Bill Clinton decried the “voices of hatred” in a speech after the Oklahoma City bombing, in which he was trying to blame talk radio for that bombing.
Off topic, but Whoopi Goldberg said Timothy McVeigh was a Christian Terrorist, the implication being that we aren’t allowed to talk of Muslim terror, because Christian terrorists are blowing up buildings.
