The other PM would have made the same mistakes Bibi made. But after this war is over, it’s likely that this government led by Bibi will fall because he’ll be the scapegoat.
He may be the scapegoat. The reality is Israeli intelligence is the best in the region, no? So what was the failure here. Or it just wasn’t something discoverable by intelligence?
I'm not so sure the blame doesn't belong on Netanyahu. I'm sure there are several others too, but the whole lot were made to look like fools at the expense of the citizenry. This attack is way worse than even 9/11. I think Israel has to let their current leaders respond, but sometime after lots of folks have some owning up to do.
