I agree. When I heard hostages had been taken, I sadly had to resign myself that these people will be murdered piecemeal in cold blood, and as a result, are already dead. Not that I blame the families, but it isn’t Netanyahu who is murdering them.
The families will have to come to terms with that.
Time for unlimited warfare by the Israelis. There is no co-existence with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinians who support them. There may indeed be many Palestinians who DON’T support them, but they are going to get crushed as well.
It looks like it is going to be war.
Furious?
More like thrilled.
The Political Left now has a talking point against Netanyahu, who they despise.
Trump doesn’t make speeches at the WEF.
Are the complainers volunteering to go in themselves and rescue the hostages? Otherwise cheap talk at the expense of soldiers’ lives on what would be a fool’s errand.
I mean, what did they expect living a mile or two from 2 million people that hate them and occasionally lob rockets and human bombs at them?
Im more furious with OUR Govt as they knew in advance about this and did NOT notify Israel..also, I dont believe these hostages are even alive, probably killed the very first day..if ANY are still alive, its only to continue raping them then they will be killed off the second the IDF gets close
I guess patriotism in Israel ain’t what it used to be, when citizens stood firm about no negotiating for hostages. Whether or not Bible should be blamed depends upon whether or not he and his government were warned sufficiently about the attacks. I would partially blame whomever in government took away the people’s guns, though.
He may be the scapegoat. The reality is Israeli intelligence is the best in the region, no? So what was the failure here. Or it just wasn’t something discoverable by intelligence?
Intelligence is there. It’s all about how you interpret it. I’m sure the Mossad saw the training camps by Hamas. So what? They’ve done it for years. Smuggling tunnels? Nothing new.
“Maybe they should direct their anger at the correct source of their misery?”
Beginning with every last filthy politician/bureaucrat responsible for their gun laws.
These victims were days away from being slaughtered at a moment’s notice. I don’t hold Bibi at fault. This is HAMAS we’re talking about.
Bibi, not Bible.
Not really his fault. But he could have pushed for the 2nd amendment. That won't work because the Israelis are socialist. Where's robust presence by the IDF near the border? Yeah, maybe he should have done something about that.
this is like blaming W for 9-11 ... just politics ...
Unfortunately that’s usually true
I'm not so sure the blame doesn't belong on Netanyahu. I'm sure there are several others too, but the whole lot were made to look like fools at the expense of the citizenry. This attack is way worse than even 9/11. I think Israel has to let their current leaders respond, but sometime after lots of folks have some owning up to do.
It’s best to wait until the war is over before pointing any fingers.....
The news has inflamed calls for Netanyahu to resign
