False. The Jericho 3 (developed in 2011) is an ICBM with a range of up to 4000 miles. The distance from Israel to Teheran is only about a quarter that. Plus Israel has nuclear armed cruise missiles on their Dolphin-class subs in the Persian Gulf.
And nuke capable F-15s, F-16s, and F-35s. Samson Option would not require them to be able to return. They could deliver and ditch, picked up by seagoing vessels.
