Twitter video #2 ------
A major protest against Israel is taking place in London right now >>>>>> https://twitter.com/visegrad24/status/1713172445073391756 ( a million-man Muslim and leftist/communist March?)
“They don’t do bomb threats. They just do bombs.”
And it’s quite effective - they usually get their way.
Like it or not - terrorism works!
I’ve o ly seen a few paintings by masters- would love to spend a few days in a museum- view8ng the famous pa8ntings in person. Book photos of the paintings just can’t do them justice
Whew! I’m sure glad they are a thing of the past!
Same here - got to see the Mona Lisa back in the day when the world was still somewhat sane.
I’ve heard people say that’s not the real Mona Lisa, and the real one is stored in a vault somewhere.
“Same here - got to see the Mona Lisa back in the day when the world was still somewhat sane.”
Likewise. I was about 3 feet in front of the Mona Lisa, who resided in an enclosed glass case. The picture is actually very small. She sits in her glass cage with her enigmatic smile as the world wanders past her in all her glory.
Humm-mmm appears the French ‘feel’ terror for some reason....
Maybe...when I saw her, there was no glass case, no ropes, I could have touched the painting....but even being young, I wasn’t stupid. Luckily, I had just taken a History of Art class at the community college I attended, and knew what I was viewing was special.
I left Seattle 12 years ago and moved to rural central Kentucky. I don’t worry about bomb threats out here.
I’m done with cities. I prefer my Keurig to Starbucks anyway.
Yeah but Leonardo had good intentions.
You know.. you're right.
I don't know about anybody else, but I see a Far Side caption:
Early depilatory test subject.
She must have improved with age, or the number of beers.
So glad OUR borders are secure/sarc

BREAKING:
The Gare de Lyon train station in Paris is being evacuated right now due to a terrorist threat.
This is no way to live...
Define ‘fleeing’ lol, in that video, those people are still on the grounds of the Louvre, you have to get past Place du Carousel to be truly distant of the Louvre.
The biggest problem the French have had for 75+ years is the presence of Algerian “Snackbars” in the country.
Visited it twice. First time in 2006 and again in 2007 when I was in Paris. The only reason I went to Paris in 2006, was to take a tour to the D-Day Beaches of Normandy. I had an extra day to spend before I had to be in London, so I spent it at The Louvre. Went again the following year, because a friend I had traveled with, had never been there. We did 10 days in London, and took an overnight trip to Paris, and visited The Louvre, and toured Chateau Vincennes on the eastern edge of Paris.
France welcomed the invaders. This is a small part of what they get.
